White styrene sheet

Post by Augustus »

Lost half a hatch door so scratch built another. But the paint is not adhering well. I didn't prime as its so small and I didn't wash it, maybe there was some oily residue? Will a second coat fix it? I don't really want to pull it apart and start again.

All ideas welcome

The second coat has gone on better but still an uneven coverage. I'll wait til morning and then try one more. If that's no good, or the handbrushed paint don't match I'll have a rethink.

Well, today a small wheel from my latest project boinged across the room. When looking for it I found the above bit that had gone missing as well. Bit late now so tucked it away in me spares box.
