I came into this hobby a few months ago with no previous experience. When I first went into a hobby shop to get supplies I looked at glue and, with nothing to predjudice my choice, bought Revell Contacta because I thought the thin, long nozzle would be good to get into nooks and crannies. I was pleased as it seemed a good choice. Since then I have also bought TET which is also very good and has its place, but if I could only choose one glue it would be the Contacta for its versatility.

THEY PAINTED OVER THEIR TOOLS!! Fantastic, can I do that too? No more trembling hand while holding your breath?

It sounds great,but, as I think you said, it does look better if you paint the tools individually even if it's not completely accurate.

So, what are your thoughts on this? Is there any technique or thing you see on models that make you cringe a bit although it is so accepted that you get critique for doing it differently? Any experiences?

Really enjoyed the first two, and will be viewing episode 3 and 4 soon.
For me personally, I would really like to model more "battle damage" on some of my next builds, but this often scares me that I'll end up ruining the model. Too often I'll see simulated battle damage which doesn't look realistic, since it is not an easy task to make plastic look like damaged/bent metal.
