Need some help with decals please

Hi guys,
I'm not sure if this is the right section, but please forgive me if it's not!
I'm trying to finish my first aircraft but I'm having some difficulties with decals. Hope you could help me out.
I applied the final paint and sprayed with Johnson Pledge Multisurface wax to get a nice gloss surface for decals (2 coats)
Then I dilluted a bit of micro set in water and applied my decals. Then I brushed the decals with micro sol but it leaves some white smudges on my paint as in the attached files.
What to do with that and how to get rid of it?
Thanks for your help in advance!

I had that happen to me when i used the Pledge stuff
It is nothing to be very worried about
When you brush on a little more of the Pledge the white stains will fade away
I can't guarantee they will dissapear but they will be harder to see
It is a reaction of the wax in the Pledge and the acid in the micro sol that causes it (i think)
To prevent it it is best to use as little microsol as possible
But what even works better is the use of a good varnish
Alclad Aqua gloss is a very good option for this
The benefit of a varnish over the Pledge is that a varnish is much stronger when it dries
Products like micro sol and set don't have any effect on it and at a later stage of your build you will see that the washes and thinners involved with the washes don't have any negative effects on it
Assuming you use Ultimate clay washes or enamel based washes
I don't know if acrylic washes can cause problems but i don't use them so i can't tell
But anyway
A new coat of the Pledge should remove most of this effect
I wouldn't recommend water as that can soften the decal again and even make it peel off in a worst case scenario
I hope this helps
Cheers

I used long life self shining floor polish to be used for vinyl, plastic, rubber, sealed wood and sealed wood product. Which I believe is the Aussie equivalent. I never had that trouble using micro sol and set. However where I must have pooled it a little I have white spots which are giving me some trouble so I don't think I will be using floor polish ever again. Floor polish does react with ammonia based products.

Thanks a lot for your help! I'll spray again with Pledge and see what happends. But next time I'll get Alclad Aqua gloss.
Thanks again!
