I have what is a newbie question.
But I am currently working on a model that has a few resin parts. Now I have found that this stuff is really brittle. Is this always the case or are there soft degree's of difference between different manufacturers.
Trying to separate the parts from the casting block and finding it doesn't like to be sawn. Learning to work with it, but it isn't fun.

I am a rookie with it as well for modelling
Much what I have learned revolves around being careful in sawing and sanding to not breathe the dust, wet sand when possible
I got a French resin Bugatti kit and it smells like vomit, seriously. I put a Bounce drier sheet in with it and dramatically improved the smell.

From my profession work experience, there are many different forms of resins and they have different properties.
Properties can also differ batch to batch depending on how I mix it, ratios of powder to liquid etc.
