A while ago i painted this cavalryman from the First World War. The resin kit from M-Model was very good, only tiny amounts of filler were needed. A small base was included, but it looked a bit weird so o added a little section on my own to the included one.

I used acrylic paints from Revell and Lifecolor to paint the figure. For the shading i used oil paints.

I also made a kit review about the figure:

Wow that's beautiful, love the gas mask on the horse, it must have been harsh times during that conflict.

That's one hell of a horse that it let someone put that on it's head.
My last encounter with a horse when I used to ride years ago... no horse that I met would let you do that.
Not without giving you a few scares and a bruise or two for your efforts.
I love all the tiny details crammed into these little resin kits.
Hamilkar, you did a stellar job picking them out too.
Well done again.
A really cool subject too.

Lovely modelling, love the subdued colours, so right it looks, and that horses gasmask is amazing, nice job on the base.
