Revell 1/350 Bismarck

This is my first attempt at ship building I a plane man really not to pleased with this build but may try again at a later date but not a Revell kit sorry about the cobwebs but it's been built for a while and only just got around to posting it.

My respect for that, it looks very nice! i am totally scared of ship models, so i am impressed by your model :)

Thanks Guys, yes I am on the whole pleased with it, the main challenge for me was the upper masts as they are very thin and easy to break especially when you have big fingers and also at my age tend to shake a bit. I would like to do an Aircraft carrier but I would have nowhere to put it so I may try the USS arizona with wood decks next but will have to wait as I'm about to start the 1/32 Tamiya Mosquito which will keep me busy for a little while also I have just finish a 1/48 Lysander which didn't come out as I would have liked but just another learning curve

At 1/350 scale it's still big, my railway is 1/148 and that boat is half size again. It's hard to compare the size of boats/ships when you have to make them in such a small scale. Excellent model much respect for working with such a small scale, any parts lost?
