Hey guys

I recently finished building my Sturmgeschütz IV. For a 40 years old kit, it was a fun build!

Here's the step-by-step process:

And here are some pics of the unpainted result:

I haven't decided the color scheme yet but I think it will be based on DAK colors, if I still have some paint after painting my Tiger I

nice and clean build! the only thing I would suggest is filling the ejector pin marks on the inside of the schürzen :thumb2:

They're not very deep, I just sanded them.

I sanded other ones, but the ones in the schürzen are a little too deep, imo

Very clean nice build you have got there..Only thing that makes it less realistic is the thickness of the side skirts. In reality those were like 0,5 cm thick. Maximum. Tamyila castedcthem too thick. 2 mm on the model is like 7 cm thick. It is not too late to make them custom. Maybe from an used RAMA top or a cola tin. The painting is great..

Thank you for your comments and suggestions! I want to make an OOB build, just to see how it looks with my best try at painting and weathering

Awesome paint work on your Stug IV. I like the chipping and scratches. Realistic effect.

That really is very, very good, well done :th:

P.S, I think building these old, relatively cheap kits OOB to practise painting/weathering techniques is a great idea.
