Diorama tips

Post by Breddy »

Hi all,

I want to make a light jungle landscape diorama for a Huey I am making. I've bought a bevelled wood base to put it on. Unfortunately I have never done a diorama :) can anyone suggest a website/video series that I could use to help?

I've been googling but only come up with short videos, figured I need more in depth explanation of materials etc :)

Chris

PS. I'm just looking to do a simple base just to put the Huey on

Hamikar and Coens YouTube channels are a great resource for tips and tricks (thanks gents :th:), also lots more like Felis Barcinonensis, Andy's Hobby Headquarters, Non=prolific Scale Modeller, HWoodModelling etc, etc.......just do a search for dioramas on YouTube......I've also found that model railroad pages are very good for diorama tips.....and of course try searching here at ISM, the 'in progress' threads have lots of info in them :th:
