Use bondo glazing putty. Mucho cheaper..works just as well..can be thinned with acetone..

If I may add one, I use my daily disposable contact lens cases for my paint and CA glue cups.
These things
Work great and better than just chucking two of them out a day

I find some of those cheap wood fillers not bad at all when it comes to tiny gaps (because the stuff shrinks in big gaps which does defeat the purpose) and for rough work on diorama bases.
It is always good to keep an eye on frugality and not throwing money at all these convenience products the manufacturers offer nowadays.

Heard a lot of good things about Bondo, but it doesn't seem to be available in Europe. Anyone know any good alternatives?
