1/48 Revell F-15E - Polish Air Force

Hi folks,

While I was on vacation in my home country this summer, I decided to build a kit from my old stash. So I went with an old F-15E from Revell. Easy built, not too many parts (although: watch out for the engine nozzles - I'd suggest getting a resin replacement), pretty good fit. Unfortunately there are no bombs (just 4 AIM-9Is) with this kit, so I got a Hasegawa weapon set (Version D, I think). Then I decided to "localize" the plane with a set of Caracal decals.

So, here it is: a hypothetical F-15E in Polish Air Force (1. Tactical Squadron/1.ELT).

Really cool, i like the idea of the F-15 with the Polish markings and the model is really nicely built.
Thanks for the heads up on the engine because I am considering to buy the Revell F-15.

Really like it, great markings and subtle weathering. At first glance I thought you'd taken the pictures in the rain which I thought was brave. Then realised it was a glass table top! :)
