This is my current build, which I'd already started this build before joining ISM, here's a link to my Facebook album, showing the build up to this point,

First 3 photos show the fuselage assembled, with a view down into the intakes, and a look at the pilot (PJ Productions modern RAF). Fitting the cockpit section to the main fuselage was a little tricky, but managed to get the alignment right (I think). The intake shrouds needed some sanding, just to get them lined up. Some filling will improve the look.

These 3 photos show the completed build, yay!
The wing and LERX fitted better than expected. After a little bit of sanding, they were dry fitted again, then, starting with the main wing, I ran some Tamiya Thin Cement into the joins, moved onto the LERX, and repeated the process. Finally, the panel behind the cockpit, and ahead of the LERX, was cemented in place. Once dried, it didn't need too much filler, so was vey happy.
All the pylons and undercarriage are primed, and once the airframe is dried and set, that get primed too.
So far, this build has been great, I'm surprised I've finished the main part of the build already.

Yes it is, and a very nice kit it is too. The Eduard boxing is well worth it, with all their goodies included

After some pre-shading, both shades of grey have been applied. This was then followed up with a couple of coats of Alclad's Aqua Gloss.

With the main canopy part, you get a decal to represent the det-cord. Great you think, but no, because unfortunate you can see the film carrier. After some research, I came across this self-adhesive item from Flying Leatherneck Models, in the US. Very easy to use, and apply, it looks 100% better than the kit supplied decal. Well worth it. Just didn't quite get it central!! D'oh!!
Last couple of pics show the Harrier all glossed up, ready for decals.

Decals on! Undercarriage dry fitted for the photos. Now to paint some of the details, then another couple of coats of gloss, ready for the weathering

Calling this done!
Last piece of the puzzle arrived last weekend, the Eduard nozzles. Huge improvement over the kit ones. Weathering all done, but subtly. The only heavy weathering is the staining from the exhaust.
The Harrier is mounted on an stem of 4mm aluminium rod bought from Wickes, and the display base is a 1/72 airfield base from Coastal Kits Display Bases. Better quality photos to follow.

Very nice the Harrier is another of my favourite jets.
