Hi guys
This is the final reveal of my Dauntless from Eduard
The kit is a Accurate miniatures SBD-5 Dauntless with the Eduard goodies you get with a limited edition kit like resin and pe upgrades
This was my first plane that has a lot of weathering as i usually keep it pretty simple with weathering planes but as these planes had a pretty rough job i decided to make it look a bit beaten up for a change

So this is my Dauntless


























And that is all i have for this build
I still need to post the last update but i will do that once i have a bit more free time on my hands

It must be a bit of luck then
I never painted a WWII US Navy plane before
Allthough i don't really like the blue it is pretty easy to work on
Especially when it comes to weathering it

Your build really makes me wish I had made some room on my calendar for this GB. Really well done.

It was fun trying to make a plane look this worn but it was a big change for me
Usually i tend to keep the weathering on a plane pretty basic
