Come on Tamiya, can we have a Tiger?

Greetings all
I've been looking at Tiger 1 kits. Not too keen on spending £60 on a Dragon (which will almost certainly need new tracks) and I find out Tamiya have not released a new tool Tiger 1 since 1989. Just new boxes and new parts. It surprised me given how popular the big kitty is.
Other than Dragon, does anyone rate any other manufacturers?

The Rye Fields ones seem to get a lot of praise. Not having myself I can't comment, but the owner of MJR Models (an ISM sponsor), Mike, reckons the one with the interior is his favourite Tiger kit. He's doing one for £48

Thanks for the reply
That's a pretty good price. I'm doubtful when it comes to full interiors though. So much work but no real way to show it unless the kit is partially disassembled. Everyone's different but beyond some open hatches it seems a waste. Still, there's no doubting the quality. Just been watching a review of the kit in question on YT. Looks amazing and the price puts others in the shade too.

He's not a sponsor any more

That is indeed an interesting point, because so far no manufacturer has brought out a perfect Tiger I kit yet. They all have their boo boos. However, i doubt that Tamiya would be up to that task. Rivet counters are incredible when it comes to Tigers.
