Hi Everyone,

This seems like a ridiculous thing to need to ask, but has anyone got any recommendations for a model shop in Central London?

Basically I want to pop out during my lunch break at work to pick up a pot of Tamiya paint, but I'm really struggling! I am in Russell Square, so have good links to most places, but I have found St Martin's, which doesn't seem to offer any paints, or Hannants, which in a bit far out to get to and back in an hour

There is a Hobbycraft in Romford on my way home, but that would involve getting off the train, which isn't too onerous obviously but I would prefer to pop out during my lunch (it would also mean I don't have to go to Romford :eeek:). There used to be a Model Zone in Holborn, which would have been perfect but that seems to be no more

Nearest I can think of is Hamleys.

In central London.... forget it, they are all gone....
Hamley's have a limited amount of plastic...

Even Patrick's in Fulham have dwindled to almost nothing..

Thanks for the replies, that is what I thought and ended up popping into Romford Hobbycraft in the end, it seems crazy that there isn't one anymore, but I suppose a reflection of the times :(
