Can anyone give me some advice on what I should use to cut resin? I've seen a few videos where a razor saw is used, so is that the best tool to use? If so, which razor saw should I get? Not looking for anything too expensive, £10 or so.

For me it depends on the part i need to cut
If it has a large casting block i will use a razor saw
The one i have is from pro edge and is not that expensuve but it isn't designed to work on resin
There are some specialized resin razor saws on the market aswell
And smaller parts with just a thin connection to the casting block can be removed with a normal hobby knife

Like mark already mentioned a razorsaw is the go to tool for removing medium to large resin casting blocks. For this purpose I have one from CMK that does an excellent job. For making more refined cuts a have a variety of photo-etch blades from Tamiya and RB Productions. I also use these to modify the kit plastic parts to accept the resin aftermarket. One advantage of these blades are that they fit right into an X-acto / Excell style hobby knife handle.

For small parts and removing razorsaw burrs I use a fresh hobby blade suitable for the purpose.

That looks like the same kind of saw i have
They work but you can't cut small parts with it

A good root down the bargain Web stores could get you some bargains, as do modelshows
