Ansio cutting mats warping

I bought a replacement Ansio cutting mat as I assumed the last one warped due to be exposed to strong sunlight for a few days. However the replacement has warped within a week too. Anyone else had this happen either to an Ansio or other brand? I bought these as I wanted an A1 mat and they were reasonably priced.

You could try to pour some hot water on it
It should soften it and then.you can put presure on it to bend it back in to shape
Or put some weight on it and leave it to cool down
A cutting mat should keep it's shape that way
But a A1 sized mat always has a few tiny bends in it
It took quite a while before mine was completely flat

Anything that causes the mat to shrink causes it to warp, heat and solvents being the main problems

Thanks I'll try hot water and weight. It isn't a few tiny bends. It's waves. I'll do a photo tonight.

Don't start with too hot water
It is better to start with a lower temperature and increase as you go i forgot to mention that in my reply
But just some weight could do the trick aswell so maybe that is a better starting point
