Guess it's time for a diorama

So, I built a beautiful model as seen here http://www.intscalemodeller.com/viewtop ... 34&t=16542 Turns out my roommates dog loved it too. Maybe too much and I woke up to this. Lol! Image.

The dog is a dog so I'm not upset (but I did like the weathering.) My room mate ended up buying me a really nice model of a zero before I saw the destruction at hand. However to pay homage to this most beautiful model I figures a crash scene is in order (it was a trainer). Where do I start in regards to dioramas? Are there how to guides out there? I have no idea where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

That's heartbreaking, but we'll done for making the best of a bad situation. You were lucky to get all the small pieces back! Might have had to wait 12 hours or so for some of them
