Probably time to get started on this thing. I'm still undecided which markings I'm going to do, at the moment I'm thinking about the grey one, but the one on the box looks nice as well.

There is a lot of lovely plastic and resin in the box!

Working on the same kit. Falls together. Not the slightest problem encountered yet.
Sure you will enjoy it.

Probably time to show some progress on this, I have been working on it a bit of and off for the past few months but have forgotten to take many pictures of it. But this is what I have.

Cockpit went together nicely with no problems, just sanded off all the details and added the PE. Did a bit a light weathering using a black oil wash and some light earth pigments.

Only problem I've had with the kit is that the intakes didn't meet up with the fuselage so I needed to add a 0,5 mm sheet to fill the gap.

Right now it's all glued up and and just waiting for paint, with a bit of luck I should have it painted and decaled before the weekend.

Got most of it painted using MR Paints. Really like how they spray and layer, only downside is the smell. Still need to paint the wheel wells then it's time to start on the decals.

Thanks!

So time for a small update, got all the decals on went down really well as usual with cartograf. Put down a coat of Tamiya X-22 thinned with leveling thinner. I then mixed some Ultimate dark dirt and concrete wash and applied over the whole plane, let it dry and removed it with some damp kitchen roll. Finally I painted the metal around the engines in Mr Hobby Super Iron and have started to add some other metal shades to add some heat stain.

Some great work indeed. My metal bits look nowhere near as perfect as you metal bits.
