Question - do you spray a finish on a diorama

Hey, easy question - do you spray a finish on a diorama when it is completed?

I guess it depends on the dio really. I've seen people use filters to pull the colours together and then a matt varnish to cover it all and again give a common look across the dio. Buildings I would generally finish like vehicles. Grass, flock, mud etc may need to be handled differently to maintain their finish. However, things like water, snow, etc might need to look glossy, shiny and so have a different finish. Also the materials used may dictate what you can and cant do. Lots of pigments may require fixing, or you may leave dusty ones alone to keep the look.
