Revell Arado E555 and escorting Horten Go229

Making these for a GB elsewhere.

After initial painting

Construction could start in earnest. First on the E555

And the Horten

Both canopies were masked with Tamiya tape.

And brush painted using Humbrol enamels. Now a confession here, I don't have the RLM colours quoted and the Humbrol enamel equivalents are not available yet. So I used RLM 1946 (i.e. modeler's license and made them up) and then varnished them in preparation of the decals.

The decals were applied with the assistance of Revell DecalSoft which I find is a great product, and then Humbrol Mat varnish applied.

So this is the state of play with them at the moment.

Looking good, that Arado is such a cool looking plane.
There can be only one!
Unless your building two, or three, or four - ah to hell with it.
