Gun looks to heavy for the ute.
I think it would shake bejeezus out of the ute as well. Not madly rocking side to side, just shake it is my guess even with the built in recoil system.

No, neither the Toyota Hilux or J Series (this model) has any suspension lockout. Some of the proper armed conversions by companies like Jankel might have a lock-out added, but not these local conversions. Yes they do rock a lot when firing to the side. Less when firing to the rear, which is why you see so many doing that in newsreels and photos: but then the chassis can flex, banging the rear body bulkhead against the back of the cab. Accurate automatic fire is impossible because of the rocking, which again is why you see so many firing single shots or very short bursts in newsreels. Rocking is less bad when the suspension is already compressed (less far to tilt) but worse as the suspension wears out through continued overstress when springs and dampers don't work as well so everything is softer, until it hits the stops with a bump.
