My take on Tamiya's superb 1/48 Dornier Pfeil or Arrow.

Out of the box, I used Montex canopy and markings mask, and the Tamiya kit decals for the underwing crosses and some stencils.

Primed in black and then marbled coated with RLM colors from Gunze Aqueous

Weathering was Mig Panel Line Washes, Ammo/AK streaking grime and Rainmarks, plus some dark/medium pigments to help with the exhausts.

Converted to in flight using kit parts (only nose door needed modification) with base made from 1/16 figure base, weighted with a clear ABS rod up through the rear engine inlet door.

Comments and criticism welcomed please.

Great build but what a weird plane having a prop at the front and rear.

Lovely job of an unusual a/c. Modulation is spot on. How did you do the marble coating?

I just picked this kit up at a show. Awesome result, I like your inflight display as well. Some aircraft should definitely be seen in their natural environment, this one certainly lends it self to being seen in air.
