0.1mm drill

Hi All,

I've got a couple of AOA probes that need holes drilled - 0.1mm! Anybody know where I can get a drill/bit that small? I've seen a couple of drills online by Tamiya and Revell but can't find any bits that small to go with either of them.

I ordered a couple of sets of these (they're quite brittle, so spares are handy to have). May not be any use to you though, as the smallest is 0.3mm.

I use these, very handy to have the same size shank. You are right about these being some what fragile. They must be kept straight at all times or they will snap. Even placing drill back on your desk, be careful. I have broken about 4 of these so far, always when I have been careless. They are very sharp and will very easily drill a hole deep into a finger...it hurts like a BI%*CH !!

You can get these in 0.1 to 1mm sets....0.1 is super small though. This size maybe harder to source perhaps. I do have one set, but haven't used it as yet as the 0.3 to 1.2mm sets have been adequate.

Smallest I have got is 0.3mm, I can't image how much smaller 0.1 is!

I got one eventually and it's almost invisible to the naked eye. So fragile looking but it'll not be out the case very often!

I have done that..drilled right into my finger. They really dive in after you get through the surface
Also dropped the little plastic case fully closed off the bench to the floor and broke EVERY SINGLE DRILL
Bought a bigger set of multiple diameter drills with spares...look on e bay
