Brush cleaner/restorer

What best for cleaning/restoring and for keeping a good point on brushes. I was using Masters but haven't been able to find for a couple of days so looks like I need to buy some more and was wondering if there's anything better out there.

Sunlight soap from the supermarket
good for both natural and synthetic bristle
