Progress on my Hobbyboss 1/48 Su-27, for my SU Sig over on the forum.
Using the kit cockpit but a resin Aires Seat and pilot, I'm rubbish at painting figures and the cockpit isn't my best work but it'll do (i enjoy painting the exterior much more.
Painted using akan Grey Blue Su 27 faded interior colour.
Top and bottom fuselage parts all glued in place now, it'll need some filling here and there but nothing major.

Primed in Ultimate black primer. Ready for base colours

Got the camo scheme down on the flanker. Using Akan paints and my custom micron i freehanded the scheme. Made a start to the Paint weathering by fading some panels. It's just a start will look alot better when finished.

Finally got to get some more paint done on the Su today. Faded and mottled the paintwork and got the radome green down where needed. Lots of time in the spray booth today running the Ultimate apex airbrush through its paces, which it did flawlessly on the camo

Totally agree with Ivan re. the green accents. Spot on. Great advert for the airbrush too, there can't be much wrong with an airbrush that can produce results like that. Now, where's me popcorn, I'm going to make myself comfortable.

My wordly-wordington, but that is a lot of very small decals. What do you use for magnification, if anything, Paul? My eyes have gone squiffy just thinking about it. It is going to look the pooch's peanuts when it's done though.
