Bergepanther with Pz IV turret - PzJg. Abt. 653

The tank belonged to the recovery platoon of Panzerjaeger Abteilung 653 and was probably used as the command tank of the platoon. The 653rd was known to be the proud owner of some unique tanks; A Tiger(p) was the commanding tank of the 653rd and they also mounted a Flakvierling to a captured T-34. Since I could not get my hands on the Cyberhobby kit, I decided to go for a conversion. The base kit will be Revell's Bergepanther, which is a rebox of ICM's Bergepanther Early

Awesome subject! I really like the camouflage as well as the chipping and wear effects you've done. Where did the turret come from for this conversion?

Good morning,

Thank you very much for the good word, much appreciated.

All the grey parts are Dragon parts. I bought the Magic Tracks, the bins and fan covers came from my spares box and the complete turret assembly was given to me by Tom Cockle, who I can't thank enough for helping me out.

p.s. great stuff on your channel, been subscribed for some time now!
