What exactly is the hair spray technique all about.

It's a chipping technique, put basically you spray on a layer of hairspray between your primer/chipping colour and top coat then use water and a brush to reactivate the hairspray to allow the top coat to be removed as chips, plenty of vids on YouTube, Will Pattison has a lengthy and in depth one that explains everything in detail.
John, whats on my bench? Usually a mess and a couple of different models a week.

I have yet to try it but I have always wanted to. I have a project coming up that I might give it a go with.

Good question, was going to ask the same one as I want to give it a try on my SAM6 build,does it work on rubber tracks ? :cheers2:
Not the best , but I'm learning something new everyday, I'm a sucker for detail may take me longer to do something but it will be done to high level of detail to my abilities :cheers2:
