Thanks for a great year, ISM!

So it's been almost exactly a year since I found this site after spending an entire evening watching Paul's old 109 build series, the instigator for me deciding I needed modeling back in my life. I haven't turned out a TON of builds, but I've really enjoyed myself. It's been a real treat to rediscover this hobby from my youth and to try a zillion things I never thought I could do when I was a kid.

There's a lot of great people here and I just wanted to give a big "thank you" to all of you for putting up with me. We've had some laughs, done a member run SiG (special thanks to Chief5437 and Skullfish for their donations), and through it all I've learned a million more things than I could ever have gotten from elsewhere. It's fantastic how Paul and Lee have fostered a community dedicated to enjoyment and not unwanted criticism.

Also watched Twokidsnosleep's house go up, which is a crazy large kit.

Couldn't agree more. I joined in early May when I decided to pick up my first ever model and nearly everything I've learned has been from here. When I need to know something I can search for it here, and if I can't find it I'll ask a question knowing people are willing to help.

There's some great modellers on here and some great characters too.
