The final reveal of my Panzer IV (Dragon 6560 Panzer IV Ausführung H mit Zimmerit)
Overall this was a very enjoyable process for me. This is only the second model I ever build for a SIG/GB here on the forum, and also my second ever for what form of contest too.
The building of the model was rather nice. Only a couple things which didn’t go as planned. For one thing is the turret mantlet which is not as close to the turret as it should. I tried to fix it, but that didn’t work. The other thing was the tracks. This was a kit on its own and was very labour intensive. The results of the tracks are rather nice I think. The Winterketten gives the tank an even more overall winter look.
The model was my second attempt at using chipping fluid and I like the result.
