1/9 Italeri (ESCI) Harley Davidson WLA 750 "Liberator"

Post by fly1ngdutchm4n »

Hello everyone,
Here's my completed build of a old ESCI kit re-boxed by Italeri scale 1/9
Had some issues with it like some bad fits, and it evolved a lot of sanding as there were seem lines on every single part of the kit.
No part numbers on the sprue's either, so I had to identify the parts by looking them up in the index drawings.
But, it's a very detailed and great kit considering it's age.
Hope you like it!

Thank you very much gentleman, really appreciated it. :)
Yes it's really a Italeri kit, very fiddley to say the least...
Took a lot of patience, even for mr zen like me...lol
Almost chucked it in the bin!
And I also got a Triumph 3 WH on my bench with a BMW R75 coming up after that. Both old ESCI kits re-boxed by Italeri :thumb2:

wow, 1/9 that is really big ;) and very well done

one thing I noticed - exhaust, rear wheel bags, seat and SMG pouch are, IMHO, the same shade of red-brown

Thank you and that is almost correct. There is a slight difference between them, but hard to see on the pictures.
Although I do agree that it would be better to use a bit more variety. :) :thumb2:

I've put the old Harley outside to let it breath a while .
Getting rid of the dust of standing in the shed too long...
