I recently just bought a kit from ScaleHobbyist.com, and is from NH, USA. Not sure if it was on the list but I thought I'd mention it if it wasn't.

I haven't used their online service but have used Antics in Cardiff (used to be called Bud Morgans) since I was a kid.
www.anticsonline.co.uk
If you plan to visit Cardiff, they are opposite the main bus/train station.

I have ordered from BNA Model World, Firestorm Models and Showcase Models here in Australia and found their service to be top notch, as well as Sealmodel in China

Red Frog Hobbies in New York is another great online hobby store with competitive prices to most. Not as cheap as Scale Hobbyist but pretty competitive.

Hi,
I'd like to propose 3 Polish shops I normally use:
Jadar Hobby - they were established in 1995 and always had good quality service and good variety of modelling products available. Website's in English and you can normally find good description of products sometimes with pics or suggested addons. The only drawback is that prices are only shown in Polish Zlotys (so you need to divide them by ~ 4.10-4.20 to get prices in EUR).
I have never tried their postal services as they're 20m from my home.
Martola - Small shop but with good offer. The website's in English and it automatically switches prices to EUR. The drawback is that there is not much description of selected product, just picture or few.
Again, haven't tried their postal service, they're close to my work

).
Plastmodel - Good shop focused mainly on online shopping. Good offer and very good quality of postal services (max 48h delivery time in PL, they contact you in case something's wrong with order). They also offer single sign on services with google account, so no need to register. Website is in theory available in PL, EN, GE, CZ languages, but it's only a theory as majority of text on webpage is still in Polish, especially product categories which makes navigation difficult. When changing language to any other than PL prices are displayed in EUR.
Regards,
Radek

Found R & R Hobbies in Porthcawl, South Wales. Open Mon-Sat 10am-5pm The owner runs as a one man band but has a good stock selection in store including a full selection(I think) of Vallejo paints, Humbrol and Revell paints. A good selection of Osprey type books. He stocks Revell, AFV Club, Hobbyboss, Academy, SMER, Tamiya, at least 1 1/32 B25 Mitchell from HC Minatures, some Citadel stuff, Airfix. He has said that he will try to get any in production kit if he can.
Proper old school model shop.

The nearest one for me and a very good shop with loads of whatever you want Frome Model Centre, its one of those shops where you go in for a tinlet of paint but come out adding to you stash, and then facing the wrath of She Who Must Be Obeyed (wife). Here is the link

Couple more for the 'down under' shoppers
http://www.defiantgaming.com/shop/ - Yes they specialise in minature/wargaming but they are also a distributor of badger products and are one of the few places round here with stock of the Minitaire paints.
SlaveToPainting.co.nz - SlaveToPainting.com.au - slavetopainting.com - catering to all parts of the world. Again they specialise in minatures but they also carry a great range of paints and are my goto site for vallejo Paints.
http://www.mightyape.co.nz/Hobbies - They started as a gaming store but now have a huge range of hobbie supples and kits. The kits could be cheaper but good source of AK products

I was just going to post this shop too. They have quite big selections of brands and the shipping were extremely fast. You can easily see whats in stock and what the price for shipping will cost you.
I ordered a Saturday afternoon, and could pick up my parcel on Wednesday. So shipping took 2 days from Germany to Sweden. And I don't even live in a big town.

That's the site for the store I buy everything that I have for modelling. It's run by a wonderful guy who is a modeler too, and one of the best modellers in Greece. The great about him is that he spends time to teach everybody who asks for an advise. Everything I know, I leant it from him. I've never bought anything online since I buy everything in person.
