Trumpeter 1/35 SPW-70

Hi all,
Here's an East German Schützenpanzerwagen SPW-70 (BTR-70). I bought this kit (Trumpeter 01592) a while ago mainly to get out of the comfort zone and build some different for me. It turned out to be if not the best but one of the most enjoyable builds for me. The kit was simply beautiful and all 480+ parts went together like dream. You can't say that from every Trumpeter kit... There were quite a lot of PE-parts so this kit is not for beginners.

The color scheme is a bit boring but I tried to live it up with oil colors. Painting was made mainly with Gunze's 303 with some changes in tone. Washes were made with Tamiya's dark brown and black panel line accent colors. More weathering was made with Mig's pigments and some sanding to the tires.
