Hi all

It's been a while.

I have a model I started last March and it's been sitting on the side with black primer on it. End result is it's covered in dust.

So two questions for all you experts...

1. 1. What do you recommend to use to clean the primer off the model. It's black Badger Primer

• 2. If I wanted to remove the primer, what would I used and would it be fairly painless?

I don't think too many people (if any at all) have tried getting the Badger/Ultimate primer off yet. It goes on nicely so there's not much need to, and the other thing is that it is very tough.

Paul might have an idea, you may have to experiment and let us know.

Ultimate cleaner should take it off fine

I just realised I phrased my first question wrong... Thanks for answering regarding removing the primer.

However, my first question was meant to say what would I use to clean the model (i.e. leave the primer on but remove all the dust and grime from the primed model)?

I've taken Ultimate primer off using detol mixed 50:50 with water.

Soapy water. Rinse well.

What Forbes said. Also give it ample dry time, don't just wipe it off and start painting. Let it air dry for a while, overnight if you can.
