So a short introduction seems polite,
My name is Kilian and I have been building Model kits since I was 9 (now 18 and still building).
All the skills are learnt by my grandpa of whom I inherited the huge stash of WW2 tanks, airplanes, scout cars, ... But seems I have the same virus of collecting and hoarding (or it's in the genes).
I'm currently building a Sherman M4A3 from Italeri which has some fitment issues with the turret.
My grandpa taught me everything except from one thing which is weathering, so all the models I made so far are build like they'd be "factory new", so if anyone has the time to teach me new skills I'd be honoured.
I hope this will be a fun forum

we all started very similar to you. If you trawl around the forum look in the weathering section and use the links to U tube you'll soon pick up the tricks.
