First time weathering and pre shading

So this is my first model and I'm so so new to this I don't yet own a airbrush so I decided to pre shade by hand c:

I've never done pre shade without an airbrush so I can't really comment. Interested to see how it turns out though!

I'm onto another build I wasn't happy with the tomcat too many mistakes I'm building the euro fighter typhoon yay the next model is going so much better now

everyone says iwata is a nice brush, I have a Mr Hobby procon boy coming in the post, which is made by Iwata only a bit cheaper.

With air brushes it really is a case of you get what you pay for. Occasionally there are exceptions, but it is very hit and miss even within the same brand. If you go back and read the AB threads invariably most upgrade at some point. I shall leave you in peace now to your ponderings .

Are you going to post a build thread for the Typhoon? It's a shame to give up on the f-14, but the hobby is all about enjoying yourself! Will you go back to it later do you think?

What do you plan to do differently when building the Typhoon?
