Workbench has been silent for a while but the lure of wingnut wings is strong.

Once I get to the decal and rigging stage I will do this kit in concert with the Snipe which has been patiently waiting to be fully finished.

They are addictive that's for sure. I would love to build the Harry Tate someday if I can ever get my hands on one. The camel looks likes it's going to be another great kit too. I hope they release a fokker tri-plane one of these days. Looking forward to seeing your build. Keep up the great work.

Ok you have my attention

Cockpit is ready for closing, progress so far.

All out the box except for the addition of an ammunition strap and securing wires.

After the occasional expletive the fiddly bit is now done with rudder control cables attached.

The v8 is magnificence in miniature, should be a joy to paint.



Fuselage closed, front panels are dry fitted, everything has gone together with a satisfying click. Can't recommend this kit highly enough so far.

Doped linen for top wings done.



Engine painted with some extra wiring added,

That's looking great. The engines on these kits are so fun to paint. They look so real when they are done. Are you going to put ignition wiring on it? I don't know this engine.
