For applying perfect plastic putty. Used mine for the first time today and they work great!

I just recently used mine as well. I started with the mid-sized applicator and love it! I have found that if I keep the DPP in the syringe and place the applicator end into a cup of regular tap water, the putty doesnt dry out. I've had mine sitting on my desk for over a week and last night it was still ready to go like I just placed it in the applicator.

These can be bought as an electronic paste applicator much more cheaply with more tips ranging in size.

That's what I'm doing, too. I find that I have to squeeze out a little bit of water and liquefied putty after its been soaking -- but this is so much better than trying to apply with a spatula.

Great tip Digger! I'll be looking into that when I need more tips! I should have looked for that when I was in Australia recently.

A follow up to this conversation. I've had my syringe sitting upright in water (covering the entire tip but not the syringe body) for months now and it's perfectly fine. I sealed the syringe body to the water vessel with Tamiya tape and I don't even have to worry about evaporation. Sure, you have to squeeze out a tiny ribbon of watery putty from the tip before using again, but this is extremely convenient.

We use those syringes and similar tips to irrigate the inside of root canals
