This is my first entry into WIP section, as I have not really been documenting my work, but thought to give it a go. It is nice to look back once kit is done. This one is from Airfix' Dogfight Doubles series. I have already finished Spitfire, so maybe will link it once I have uploaded photos. As this is new tool I had no problems so far. All parts fit exactly as they should. The only draw back is that as it is a starter kit painting guidelines are limited.

I have mixed my own colours with Tamiya acrylics. For brush paining i use Revel's Aqua Color and Humbrol acrylics. I used to paint with Revell back in my brush days, and foumd them excelent for that. As they are thick, they go a long way after thinning. All paints thinned with X20a with little retarder.
Here we go.

Cockpit done

So I decided to make splinter cammo freehand to preserve blackbasing. This is 1st time I have used bb for multi color surface. Need to practice more.
