Hey Guys,

I finally "took the plunge" and started up a YouTube channel

My first content is a review of the 1/72 scale TS-11 "Iskra" aircraft kit from ARMA Hobby.

I made a ton of mistakes, but hopyfully I will get better as I go

Constructive criticism is welcome - I'm really trying to get better at this.

I would say "scared devoid of the brown stuff"

For the next one I will prepare myself better; for example checking the autofocus and make a script so I know what to say

Tom, I wouldn't write a script, make it up as you go along it'd sound a lot more natural... that's my opinion anyway

This is a couple of months old build that I have done a video on. If the future of image hosting gets worse I'm thinking of an alternative way of publishing my buildthreads when they are finished. Please share your thoughs about the format (here or comment on YouTube) if you like it or not.

I have no plans to stop doing buildthreads on the Forum and post stuff on Facebook, I'm just not trusting Photobucket, Flickr and other image hosting sites as my only source of sharing my work

No, I haven't done that yet.
But it sounds like an interesting idea; It would be great for a flat surface where you want to have a hard edge cammo.

Yep I was initially wondering if it could be used for WWII camo but then got to thinking that it might be useful for some of the digital stuff as well... I guess the trick would be to work out the curves to make it work on fuselage...

Yeah, I would approach it like that. Also it's not forbidden to just make the most complicated parts with cutting machine and use regular masking tape for the rest...

One thing I have in mind is to make a full sheet of splinter cammo patterns in different scales, which can be used to just cover a surface if you want to have a splinter cammo on it. I'm thinking of airbrushing my desktop computer housing with Swedish 4-colour splinter cammo (like the one popular on SAAB Viggen aircrafts). Or on a mobile phone shell

Another thing is to make a couple of "utility-sheets" with roundels, stripes, arcs and other stuff in different sizes that are useful for masking - like the precut sheets from Maketar.

How strange; when I saw the kit in the shop the first thing that came to my mind was to make a beach dio with a scratchbuilt wooden surfboard strapped to a roof rack. Never thought about adding a girl, but hey I can adapt

Thats as good a `how to` on static applicators as I`ve seen.

The science is simple and the components are almost free thanks to the `Poundland bug zapper`.
Pound shops in Sweden ? thought they`d be dearer than that.

There a lot of shops like that in Sweden, one of the biggest ones is called Gekås/Ullared and people get there from all parts of Sweden to shop. It even has it's own TV-show (and a camping!)
