Bambi annual oil change, necessary or not?

Post by OneSmallStep1966 »

My Bambi BB8 is approaching one year old and according to the instructions I should change the oil, but it hasn't had loads of use and I wonder if this is strictly necessary?
The oil level hasn't gone down at all and the oil colour hasn't changed, so a question to all you Bambi owners, do you change the oil annually or not?

I just top mine up when it goes below the gauge (thats only happened once so far though) I have had mine about 9 months now, and no problems...and use mine for around 5/10 hours a month Im guessing...I will just keep an eye on the colour of the oil....Its not like we use it as much as Dentists or the like...

I have a compressor that I use at work all the time and never worry about changing the oil ( 7 yr old now ). The one that died was 30yrs and still never changed oil. Also have my airbrush one and never change that either.

Thanks guys. I'll go with that and not bother changing the oil until this year.
