The End is Neigh! Buddy Build

A non-ISM Buddy Build that will run between May 1st - June 30th. No prizes will be offered (this is for the building fun).

This Buddy Build will take place over a two month period, in which time participants will build a model and/or a diorama that has a horse in it. you read that right; a horse!

You can build just a horse, or you can build something that has a horse in it, such as a model of a cowboy on a horse, or a knight on horseback, etc.

You can also build a robot horse (a Gundam type of thing), or even fantasy horses such as a unicorn or a pegasus!

The horse can be by itself; with a rider or other type of companion, or part of a diorama. As long as there is a horse, you are all set!

So come join us for some horsing around; get a little silly and creative, and we hope to see you participate!

Please comment below if you are interested in partaking, so we have an idea on the numbers (we have folks that have already commented on the ISM Facebook Group page and in the ISM Hangouts) but I would like to see some feedback here.

Well , as I mention before I will enter this Buddy Build with a MAmeluke on Horse from Napoleonic era, an Andrea Miniatures figure in 90 mm

I'm certainly in for this, got my kit and build all ready to go !

Depending on when it starts I could give it a go. I'm up to my eyeballs in End is Nigh, a Zoid, and an impending Egg Plane, if it starts in May (or Meigh, nyuk nyuk nyuk) then I could swing it.

I've got a kit all ready to go for this one.

Do you have to start from the 1st of May, or can one include a horse in a current diorama project?

It has to be a new project.

You cannot derail, you are only allowed to tip over the apple cart (with a horse pulling it).

Is this idea still going to be realised or not
If so i can't find it anywhere
Or in other words i found a horse in my stash and need a excuse to build it

I guess i need to find a way to jam all those parts back in the box then

It is a bit small though
Only a 54mm or 1/32 scale
I am more used to 70 and 75mm

July 1st. I thought it was May 1st and would have had to skip it, but now I can make it work.

I think it is a kit
It has about 20 white metal parts so it will require some assembling before i can start painting

Oh sweet, it is metal as well

I prefer resin though
Much lighter and easier to glue
