Hello everyone! This post is being created to give you, as a member of ISM, the opportunity to share what you have been working on during the week on the Friday night show. Please read the rules below in order to participate.

01). By participating in this thread, you are giving permission for the ISM live crew to share your work during the Youtube broadcast of the ISM Live "At the Bench" Friday show.

02). Please, only post your own work and not that of others.

03). Remember, post only one image per member each week. This will prevent prolific builders from dominating this segment and will prevent this part of the show from becoming too long.

04). Also, have only one project shown in the image per member each week. Again, this prevents prolific builders from dominating this segment and making this segment longer than it needs to be.

05). Along with your image, please include the following details: The name of the kit; the company that produces the kit; any aftermarket that you have added, along with the brands and colors of paint used (if applicable).

06). The deadline for entries each week will be between the time the post goes up until an hour before Friday's show. Entries made after the deadline will not be shown.

07). Remember: If you wish to have a project highlighted during the show, the image and information must be shared in this thread, not a separate post on the Facebook page!

08). There will be a posted thread similar to this one on the ISM Forums. PLEASE post your work only in ONE of these. This will prevent us from having to sort through duplicate posts on both sites.

After the the live crew shows what they have been working on during the week, participating member's images and details will then be shown. This is an opportunity for you as members to be directly involved with the show. We hope that you will participate no matter your level of experience. This will not be a critique of anyone's work.

Just the tracks, more mud and some touchups to go...
Trumpeter 1/35 KV-1 painted with Lifecolor (for the steel/rust effects), Mig Ammo, Wilder and AK weathering products



The Fruil tracks are assambled and burnished, ready for their detailing.

Revell (Fine Molds) 1/48 X-Wing Rogue 1 Blue Leader

I sprayed the base white on top of Ultimate black primer over the weekend then got stuck into the Blue Squadron markings. I love painting with Tamiya paints. The coverage (even with white) is great and I get very little air brush clogging, even over prolonged sessions. The finish also stands up nicely to masking (take note Vallejo )

I still have the markings on the lower wings to do and the light grey on the canopy framing. Then its on to glossing, washing and weathering, AKA all the fun stuff!

Good day...my first post!
I am working on 1:48 Bussing- Nag 4500 with 3 ton crane. This is a resin kit from Gaso.line. Great fun build!

Dragon black label 1:35 MBT-70 (Kpz 70)
Using rb barrels instead of the kit supplied ones. Undercoated in Vallejo black primer then a coat of Vallejo 887 brown violet and Vallejo 950 black track painted in tamyia metallic grey . Weathering Nato filter by ak interactive and track wash again by ak interactive
just a small amount of detail painting to do (ie 1 part)

I've been working on my Airfix 1/48 Stuka for the Stuka S.I.G.



Used mostly Tamiya acrylics, but the upper surfaces are RLM 82/83 from Mr. Color. The build is 99% out of the box, as the only thing I added were a set of PE seat belts I had laying around. Getting close to clear coating the fuselage and getting ready for decals.

Assembly included pinning the arms and Tamiya 2 part epoxy.
Airbrush: Ultimate Apex

Paints sprayed:
Primer: Badger Stynlrez White
Skintone: Vallejo Light Flesh
Dress: AV Model Air Silver for base followed by Tamiya Clear Green.
Hair: AV Model Air Silver for base followed by Tamiya Clear Orange.
Thinner: Ultimate

Brush Paints: Mixture of Vallejo, Citadel, Tamiya and Createx

Final coat sprayed with AlClad II Aqua Gloss Clear

hey Dan, hope you had a good birthday!

this week i have mostly been... working on the fine molds 1/48 x wing.

gave it a wash with Ultimate dark dirt, then pigments from humbrol, and cheapo pastels from the art store.

oils next.

Zoid Liger Zero frame base color and assembly for the Winter Gunpla/Robot/Mecha SiG complete! Up next will be a half dozen pistons, a ton of detail painting, gloss coat, and weathering. Then the Panzer armor will get started. 6" Bandai Stormtrooper for scale:

Been working on a 1:25 Revell '41 Chevy Pickup. No aftermarket additions, but attempting some scratch building of the ignition wires and maybe some other engine details. It's all primed with Stynylrez Gray. The fenders are Tamiya Gloss Black and the body will be Tamiya Gloss Green (or possibly some variant of that). Other Tamiya and Vallejo Model Color metallics are being used for the details. The engine's final color is just the primer gray. The bed deck and rails are a simulated wood effect using some "inexpensive" oil paints off Amazon (they are looking good but taking a long time to dry!). I'm also using a mix of Tamiya Flat Clear with Pledge Floor Finish for a semi-gloss effect on the engine and other parts. The final gloss coat will just be Pledge Floor Finish, that should be about the right level of gloss that I want.

Just finished my first build...plenty of mistakes along the way but I've learned a lot and I'm quite chuffed with the end result.

Airfix Harrier GR9A 1:72 (Starter Kit)
No aftermarket.
All done with Tamiya Extra Thin and Kristal Klear for the canopy.
Priming was done with rattle can PlastiKote and main colour is airbrushed Tamiya XF-83. All other painting just using the Humbrol Acrylics as supplied in the starter kit.
Decals applied after a coat of Klear and with Micro Set and Micro Sol.
A Dark Dirt (Flory) wash then applied all over and taken back to give a well used and dirty finish.
Finished with a coat of Testors Dulcote.

Really enjoyed this build...definitely got the bug and straight onto the next kit.

The StuG pimping continues... My 1/35 Tamiya StuG iii ausf G (Early) For the lower hull the Czech Master gun breech and carriage have both been assembled and base coated (primed in Ultimate Black and base coated in Vallejo Model Air Ivory) and need to have detail picked out and a wash applied, the suspension and rear assemblies have been completed with the addition of Eduard grilles. For the upper hull, the Tamiya kit parts have been completed again with the addition of Eduard grilles for the air intakes, the rear deck has been kitted out with the "fencing" and stowage from the Legend set. I've also base coated the inside of the upper fighting compartment with Model Air Ivory. The roof will be finished with all hatches open and will be removable.

Hi everyone - Dan, just read out the blue bits

1/48 Tamiya Beaufighter TF. Mk. X by Al MacNeish -PL-A (RD393) of 144 Sqn.

Started work on this recently as a mojo build but health and family are determined to make it a '100 year build'. Cockpit and internals Primed with Ultimate Black primer and using Tamiya acrylics throughout. It has moved on slightly with the fuselage halfs joined together and wings and body dryfitted. Ultimate Dark Dirt wash was used to weather up inside and Solvaset poured onto instrument panel decals as it's an out of box build. One relaxation to this rule is Aviaelogy decals which I hope to use to depict Coastal Command aircraft PL-A (RD393) of 144 Sqn, Coastal Strike Wing based at Dallachy, Scotland (just down the road from me).

Small start but better update next week.

Here I am holding the nearly completed Aurora''s 1/8 'The Invisible Man' from their monster series of the 1960s.

You'll see the effects better once I've put a coat of paint on him.

Plodding on with the 'Sundowners' F4. Cockpit by Eduard. Reminds me of the old musicals from the 50's and 60's 'Costumes by Chanel.'

Pushing to try to get my Stuka done for the SIG. It's the Hasegawa kit with some parts from Aires resin cockpit, Quickboost resin seats and one Aires resin gun bay. Been painted using MR Paints RLM 02, 04, 65, 70 and 71 over Ultimate black primer. It will get Italian markings from ROP OS models and then painted British markings as it will be a captured plane. But first I need to do some paint fading.

Wing nut Wings Sopwith Snipe late 1/32 interior completed. Citadel paints with Windsor Newton oils and AK telegraph wire added.

Cockpit painted with Gunze H308 and the metal on the outside is ModelMaster Metallizer Laquer paint sprayed onto the bare plastic (no primer).
