I hope its ok for an American from the west coast to partake in this British SIG (kidding of course!)
I've had this kit a while and this seems like a good reason to build it. Ive found a few problems in the parts already.... Lets hope I can rectify them. I also have an aftermarket canopy not pictured that I purchased after realizing the kit provided one was less than crystal clear. I will be building the FR.46 variant and using kit decals, I really like the all blue with yellow tail scheme provided with the kit.
I also have a Fujimi British Phantom Ive been looking forward to building.... Maybe I can get both done?! No likely but I can dream.

We'll let you in as long as you promise to have tea and crumpets twice a day and say 'jolly good show' and 'well done old chap' when you compliment the other builds in the SIG
I'm building the Kinetic Sea Harrier so see you around the build threads Sir (or should I say 'Dude').

Now, that is an absolute perversion!

Cool build topic
I would think you have to say "Alluuuumineeeeum" a whole bunch as you build, just to get the British juices flowing.
Throw in a bunch of 'mate' and the odd 'oi' and you will be golden.
Please note that being Canadian, I am immune to such regulations due to Commonwealth affiliations
Good luck on your build,Mate
