Aside from being an awesome jet, I kinda want this kit for the Spook alone.

Congrats old timer!!!
I can say that as I got a few years on ya, grandpa
I am doing the B17 as I missed last year's egg and then the FAA Sea King helicopter
The Porsche is my mojo builder as I have a car fetish going on at the moment
Hornets will have to wait a bit longer

Made a start on "spook" last night.
Not to much flash on him but the sprue gates were quite thick, some ejection pin marks in painful spots (hat band) and some seam lines to clean up
Still in progress with cleaning him up the best I can. Will post some pics when I get home this afternoon

Thanks Pete. ... although I'm not happy about the situation, they are 19 and 18 and both have no job no license etc etc, and as much as I think it's a mistake on their behalf... you need to learn by your own mistakes

Settling in ok... still have a few boxes to finish unpacking...
As for the modelling area... that has stalled... spent the weekend rearranging the small garage to gain a spot for me, and then the stepson and his girlfriend have decided to move out after we just moved in... so now I've put it on hold and will be able to get into the house once they leave after easter
But at least I get to be in with the heating now that it is starting to get colder

Is it bad that I have already looked at their room and have mentally drawn a plan to where everything minus the compressor will go??

Well, you can't make a hobby space without braking some eggs.
Or something.

Alright back on topic....

Anyway.... spent some time masking her up today and shot Mr hobby 315 on the topside
And the missile tips
They are currently in a box drying. Will upload photos after I've done some errands

Mr hobby H315 for the missile tips and topside of the fuselage
Vallejo metal color 77.713 jet exhaust for the burner cans
And that's where she stands right now

I am always dead serious with my builds
Historically accurate right down to the smell and
exactly the correct number of rivets....it is usually three, no more, no less

Hmmm 3 rivets huh...... sound over engineered to me..... but I could pull it apart and put it back together and still have rivets left over.....
