What a great kit. I was in need of a mojo boost and this delivered! I loved building this newish kit from Airfix.
Apart from the Eduard photo-etch cockpit set it's built OOB then sprayed with a mixture of Tamiya and Modelmaster acrylics.
The aerial cable is stretched Tamiya sprue as I couldn't get the Airfix sprue from the kit to stretch!!!! Micro Set and Sol were used for the decals. and Testors Dullcote was used to seal everything in.
Now time to log-on to Amazon and get the Hurricane and maybe the Defiant to go with it.........................

Great job Keith. well done. Another Airfix Spitfire worth doing is the PR XIX. Again it just falls together and looks great.

I'm working on the 1:48 Airfix Mk Vb with my son, I can't recommend that kit. Some engineering choices that make you go: "Why???"

For me you just can't beat a mk1 spitfire in that iconic early war camo, very nice work thanks for sharing!
