riveting B-24 - need help finding blueprints!!!

Hello guys! :hi: - 'also I'm not really an aircraft modeller, so excuse my poor experience'

I've got a 1/48 Monogram B-24J in the stash, and I would like to really improve the looks of it with several detail kits, however one thing that does not come in a kit is the rivet detail. I'm not sure where to place the rivets on the kit as there is little reference detail on all the rivet patterns.
I tried looking up blueprints, but they only show large panel lines, and not the precise location of rivet lines. I have seen many blueprints of other aircraft include the rivets, why not the B-24?
If someone could source some more information, point me in the right direction, or just give some advice, it will be much appreciated, like I said I'm not the best at aircraft modelling.

Thanks :th:

Well thanks for the help so far guys, I'll have to do some digging with what you've gave me!
Still going to be a while till I start the build, which gives plenty of time to find references, I'll definitely be checking out these sites. :pop:
Thanks guys! :th:

I'm always amazed at the stuff guys on here come up with.:

When I was in the mob we would take a jet to some air display wherever on the static line. We would be standing there in our best gro bags and Ray Bans talking to Joe Public and I'm not joking when I say that a lot of the time they knew more about the aircraft than we did. It's the same with light aircraft, take them to a fly in somewhere and I can guarantee some guy (usually with about a zillion quids worth of cameras around his neck) will tell you the history of the a/c you've just parked up. Fascinating stuff, I learn more about the aircraft I fly from people who don't fly than from any gathering of pilots.

I would like to know what tool makes realistic rivet lines without elongating the rivet impressions. What do you plan to use.

:ooops: sorry for the slow reply.
I'm looking into getting a 'rosy the riveter' tool, its look pretty decent from what I've seen, but I'm no expert on the subject.
Also I think I may have enough reference for the B-24 Rivets, so it was a huge help from everyone :th:

I have seen the rb riveter...supposed to do realistic rivets. I tried using the trumpeter one and I couldn't really see what I was doing .It has a plastic guard and not much clearance under it.

I looked into the trumpeter riveter, and for the price I though it looked great! After doing some research I could see the problem with that stupidly large plastic guard. I think when I come round to doing the Rivets I will invest in the RB Riveter.

I've just order the Rosie Riveter double and triple lines as I really like the single lines; excellent tools IMO

RB productions and KAGERO Topdrawings Are probably your best bet for blueprints mate
