Hi guys
This is a small reveal of my recently finished BF-109 E4
The scheme comes from a unit based in the Balkans wich is suprisingly colorfull for a war plane
Any way a pretty nice kit to build even though it took me ages to finish it (i put it on hold several times)

So here are some out doors pics of the finished plane

So some mistakes where made
Mostly with 2 decals
One isn't straight and the other had a bit too much microsol on it when i left it to dry so it had time to start hanging to one side while it was drying ,bummer but i noticed it after i gloss coated it again to seal in the decals
And a small disclaimer
Yes it has swastika's on the tail but i only feel that they should be there as the real planes had them
But i don't support the whole concept of the era in any way
Normally i would't even mention this but on a tank you don't have them ,planes however do have swastika's on them (just my opinion on the matter in case some one was wondering)
But that is all i have for this build

Great build, love the swirly cam scheme, you have captured that quite well. There's no issue with the swastika as far as I'm concerned, that's what they had so if you're building a WWII Luftwaffe a/c that's what should go on. A mate of mine does the Dambusters tour at Scampton where Guy Gibson's dog, Nigger is buried. The dog was knocked down and killed on the Dams raid just before Gibson took off. He doesn't change the name or pussyfoot around it when he shows visitors the grave (it's writ large on the gravestone anyway). As he says modern sensitivities shouldn't rewrite history.

Ah, well it's very fashionable these days to be 'offended.' Some people look for things to be offended by. They are probably offended if they don't find anything that offends them.

Yeah get that kind of people aswell these days

Lovely stuff, Mark. I do love the unusual camo schemes you sometimes get on 109s. Great build.

The camo was one of the reasons i picked this scheme
Along with the white patch on the spinner
But i didn't want it to be a plane with the more common mottling on the sides
I know that a lot of real planes had this but then again there are tons of models out there with that feature aswell so i wanted a different look for this one

inspirational stuff there Mark! you have just reminded me why i have 2 of these kits in the stash.
