1/48 Airfix TSR2

Hi guys, figured i need to start posting more often here, so heres my first reveal thread. Got a few coming up soon

Scale: 1/48
Manufacturer: Airfix
Paint: Tamiya and Vallejo metal
Extras: SAC metal undercarriage, coastal kits blurred runway
Weathering: Dark dirt wash
Decals: OOB

Shes a rather large model once built. Really struggled to get her on my photo background but did the best i could. No major problems with the build, Just took longer than normal due to a house move. Had its first outing at the Milton Keynes show last weekend and had lots of positive comments. Thanks to Tim for sorting it on his IPMS stand. May bring it to Telford this year but will have to see nearer the time.

Wow, fantastic result and the display is brilliant very dynamic. Your white paint scheme really pops too, I find that very difficult.

That's a nice looking model and really captures the era. Great work.

I love that you've "allowed" it to be a tail sitter to show in take off. I would never have thought about doing that - with focus always seeming to be on preventing tail sitting.
