Time's up!

Post by Lysus »

So we had 8 finishes, not awful, but short of the 10 required for the prize. Great work everyone, even if you didn't finish. Life can get in the way, or maybe you didn't like it, whatever the case may be I hope you at least had fun.

We need to decide what to do with the prize, then. I'm considering adding it to the Summer Sci-Fi prize pot, but I'm open to ideas. We can still do a prize draw for the seven who did finish (I'm not eligible ;) ). Leave a comment below if you have a better idea, otherwise I'll decide by Friday.

Thanks!

As far as i am conserned you could skip the draw
It is a generous offer but the amount of finishes is rather low
Would be more fun to see it go in a bigger build

I tend to agree, but I'll let this stand a couple days still, just in case anyone has anything else to say.

Not fussed about prizes I just entered to try something new and have a laugh. Really enjoyed it and would do it all again, thanks for organising it.

Cheers

Hi I'm sorry if i have messed up your prize draw, I never was going to enter the reveal section it would be a insult to your SIG , it would also be a insult to the guys who build these all the time I mean look at them the guys put so much time & effort in. I should have stick to AFV which I can just about get away with sorry again

Lysus if you want to draw it between the 7 that's ok
But putting it as another summer sci-fi prize is also a very good idea
I like to know what you think even if it is critique , If you spotted it let me know
Trying to finish what I started, and take part

There was a prize? I didn't build to try and win something, I build mine because I had it and wanted to try something different.

Hi Jason I can post my two builds if you really really want me to  , it would make the number up to ten and then you can have a draw, I'll leave it to you :cheers2:

I think that's indeed what I'll do, add it to the Summer pot.

No worries, Pete. Nothing to feel bad about, it's all just in good fun! It would make it 9, really, mine doesn't count ;) You did good, tried it out, that's all I could ever want :th:

I think most of the responses here line up with my preference, we'll toss the kit into the Summer Sci-Fi prize pot. Big pot is getting big. :nena:
