just started a new build just assembled engine and primed the frame Ultimate black primer before i put a white coat on for the red .can only put a few photos on has photo buckett gets to me after a while trying to upload lol comments welcombe and any tips

I like them gold, but depends what you do with the wheel rims.
Maybe a bit of an oil wash/panel line to tone the gold down a bit and highlight the fine moulding on the bolts and such
MIG's Dark oil wash is my favourite for that or mix up your own....you do that I think
Then if you don't like it, out comes the silver

Great subject Paul nice job on the engine, on engines I use Mr Hobby brass buffable metaliser which when polished looks like an oily gold and not quiet so harsh as paints like Tamiya X12, but as Scott says if unsure about it try something else it can always be changed back. Good luck, looking forward to seeing it come together mate

just a update on progress there is a lot of injection pin marks to deal whith the engine was a pain to fit into frame had to take carbs off and then refit them

Great job there Paul the paint work on the frame etc looks spectacular, and the motor in the frame is looking very nice indeed mate,

just a update on progress it was all going fine untill i glossed the tank and faring the gloss wasnt compatable with the paint the air went a bit blue . but has all been sanded and primed. has for the decals i was lucky to have a spare set but the white has gone yellow . i have been told if i put them in the sunshine they wil come back white fingars x

after seeing the top pic i have repainted it didnt seem to bad to me but my eyesigth must be getting bad.camera never lies lol

Ahhh I hate it when the body work doesn't go smooth.
The frame and engine of the bike are spectacular.
You will get the farings and tank there as well

Hi Paul think I have some decals for the Hailwood bike from when I converted mine to the TT bike will check my spares box you can have them if you want.

But a cool hot hatch/ boy racer sports car.....that is another story

looking good, havent built this one myself yet but I think I might have it in my stash somewhere, nice work on the engine, good recovery from your decals issues you had.
